Awards

The LRC has been involved in awarding quality research in the area of localisation for the past number of years. At present, it runs three annual awards, which aim at enhancing the visibility and recognition of internationalisation and localisation around the world, especially amongst researchers, educators, content developers, publishers and localisation service providers.

	Annual LRC Best Thesis Award An annual industry sponsored award given to the author of the best research publication in an area relevant to internationalisation and/or localisation. Winning Theses
	Annual LRC Best Localisation Scholar Award An annual industry sponsored scholarship programme, open to postgraduate researchers at third-level institutions. The scholarship is given based on the submission of competitive proposals. Winning Proposals
