SDL International to provide localization service for LexmarkMast

SDL has announced the completion of contracts with Lexmark International Inc., to cover the provision of localization services.
Lexmark has been using SDL for more than 10 years, in a variety of projects covering software, online help and documentation localization into approximately 20 languages. After a careful selection process, involving a number of the world’s leading globalization and localization solution providers, Lexmark has now contracted SDL to provide localization support for the Printer Solution and Services Division.
SDL will be working on numerous projects covering all of the localization activity, which involves working across more than 20 languages, providing translation, software engineering, Q&A, desktop publishing of documentation and testing of final files.
The work will be managed from SDL’s site in Bray, Ireland, where a dedicated team has been established and developed over the years to meet Lexmark’s continuing need for a cost-effective, flexible and efficient solution.
Master Services Agreement between Microsoft and SDL
International

As part of the company's commitment to localized products, Microsoft Corporation has completed a Master Services Agreement with SDL International for localization services.
SDL has provided localization services to Microsoft for several years, covering a wide range of software products. The purpose of this new Master Services Agreement is to define the service rates, terms, and conditions for each localization project requested by Microsoft. The use of a Master Services Agreement provides a more efficient process for the provision of localization services.
Commenting on the completion of the contract, Bernhard Kohlmeier, Manager - International Vendor Management Group of Microsoft said: "We are pleased to have signed a Master Services Agreement with SDL and see this as a positive development both for Microsoft and SDL."
