Great
success of the first International Localisation Summer School (11-16
June 2001)
July 1, 2001 -- The
LRC has successfully concluded its first International Localisation
Summer School at the University of Limerick. The courses included
different streams, such as Project management, QA, Translation,
Internationalisation and cultural issues.
In addition to
Ireland, other countries such as US, Canada, Spain, Germany, France,
and Swedan were present at the Summer School.
Speakers of the
caliber of Julia MacLauchlan, Tony O'Dowd, Anne
Grills,Yves Savourel, Bert Essenlink, Tom Connoly, Paul
McBride, etc, together with the high quality
laboratories and the pleasant venue made the Summer School a most
enjoyble learning experience to everybody.
