and localisation: call for proposals
The The
European Commission has launched a new market-oriented programme, eContent,
in the area of internet content products and services. The programme
is intended to stimulate the development and use of high quality
European digital content (e-content) on the global networks. One of
the main enhancing content production in a multilingual and
multicultural environment – is particularly relevant for HLT.
The first
call for proposals was published on 15 March 2001
with a second call due in early November 2001. The evaluation
of proposals submitted in response to the first call is planned for
the first half of July 2001.
