New LRC Web Address The LRC are proud to inform you of the launch of their new web address : http://www.localisation.ie. Anybody using the old address: http://lrc.csis.ul.ie will be redirected automatically to the new address. LRC Conduct Their First of their Monthly One-Question Survey
The LRC recently decided to conduct a one-question survey on a
monthly basis, offering those working in the localisation field a chance
to put forward their opinions, with regard to key trends in the industry.
The survey is emailed to our database of contacts and the results are then
published on our web site. This month's question was : "Can
translation companies and localisation service providers survive the
current economic climate? TILP Social Event The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP) invites you to join your colleagues at the first annual TILP Social Event, formerly the Annual Localisation Dinner, which will take place on the evening of Tuesday, 12 November 2002. LRC 2002 eContent Localisation Conference and Industry Showcase The 7th Annual International Localisation Conference and Showcase organised by the LRC is Europe's largest and best-established localisation event. This year's conference is organised in cooperation with the European Localisation Exchange Centre (ELECT), supported by the European Union eContent Programme.
