1st ELECT LRC European Localisation Scholar Award

As part of the ELECT project, the LRC are launching another annual award, namely the ELECT LRC European Localisation Scholar Award. This industry sponsored scholarship, sponsored by IBM, is open to postgraduate researchers at European third-level institutions. The scholarship is given based on the submission of competitive proposals. The deadline for submissions is 14 October 2003. Click here for further details.

Introduction of a Subscription Fee for Localisation Focus

From this month onwards, there will be a subscription fee of €20.00/$20.00 per year introduced for the LRC's quarterly magazine, Localisation Focus.  Note: This charge will not apply to anybody who is a member of The Institute of Localisation Professionals - TILP.

Additionally, past issues of the magazine are now only available online to magazine subscribers (who can find the required username and password inside each issue of the magazine). Find out why...
