LRC Award Winners Announced
Each year the Localisation Research Centre and a trio of interested companies run an awards programme aiming at encouraging research and excellence in the field of localisation. This year was no different and the LRC, together with sponsors Symantec, Euro RSCG 4D and con[text], invited and evaluated submissions for three awards, two in the area of research and one in the area of web development.
The LRC was delighted to present awards to the following people and organisation:

TILP Fellowship Announced
The TILP Council has awarded the inaugural TILP Fellowship to one of the most distinguished localisation professionals in the world, Brian Kelly, one of the founders of the localisation service industry in Ireland.
Brian was presented with the award which was presented at the LRC XI Conference Dinner at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel and a reception was held in his honour by TILP in London’s Copthorne Tara Hotel on the 26th of November
