LRC XI Conference 25-26 October 2006
This will be the 11th annual Internationalisation and Localisation conference organised by the LRC and marks a return to Dublin for the event.
We have a varied and interesting programme lined up including an opening address from Tony O’Dowd, CEO Alchemy Software Development plus keynotes from from Lisa Moore (IBM) CLDR - Locales for the World on day one and Richard Ishida (W3C) The Internationalisation tag set on day 2.
Who Should attend?
LRC Conferences are aimed at managers, engineers, translators, and internationalization specialists working in the localisation industry. They are also aimed at businesses, governments, and international development agencies that would like to find out how internationalization and localisation can help their endeavours.
Registration fees are €380 (€290 for TILP Members). This includes both days of the conference, lunches and entry to the Conference Social Event.
IGNITE at LRC XI
Session two on day 2 of LRC XI will feature members of the IGNITE consortium group giving presentations, talks and demonstrations on the IGNITE Project.
LRC XI is being held this year in Dublin in the European Foundation Building, Loughlinstown in cooperation with the European Union funded IGNITE Project.

TILP AGM
TILP’s 2006 AGM will take place on the evening of Thursday, 16 November in London’s Copthorne Tara Hotel.
The AGM will follow a TILP Ask the Experts session organised in conjunction with ASLIB Translating and the Computer 28.
