The LRC
exhibited at the Localsiation World Conference in Berlin from the
19th - 21st June. LRC Director Reinhard Schäler also presented at
the conference, providing attendees with an overview of the IGNITE
Localisation Factory.
The final review for the IGNITE
project took place in Luxembourg on 26th June. The project was deemed a
success and the LRC will endeavour to further develop the important work
started in the project.
Michael Bourke will leave the LRC on 30 June 2007. Michael joined the
LRC in 2003 and was instrumental in the success of both the ELECT
and IGNITE projects
as well as providing the technological expertise behind a number of other
LRC ventures. We wish Michael all the best in future and thank him for his
outstanding work during his time here.
