IGNITE Contact Group Meeting

The Third IGNITE Working Conference on Localisation Standards in an Automated Localsation Environment took place in Dublin on the  02 February. This was the last of three working conferences which accompanied and guided the European IGNITE project. The highlight of this meeting was a presentation of the central component of the IGNITE project in action: the IGNITE Demonstrator.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the IGNITE automated localisation environment, discuss details directly with its developers and find out how IGNITE could possibly fit into, and help streamline their localisation process.

Staff Departure 

Kevin Bargary left the LRC this month. Kevin has been a valuable  member of the LRC for over two years and has contributed to a number of LRC endeavours, being instrumental in the success of the EU IGNITE Project.

Kevin's enthusiasm, professionalism and good humour will be missed at the LRC but we wish him all the best in all his future career.
