DiET is aimed at supporting the evaluation of
Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications and is
a follow-up to the highly successful TSNLP project.
DiET commenced in April 1997 and will run for 24 months
The project will result in the production of a set
of data and tools for evaluation.
DiET is supported by the European Commission under
the Telematics Applications Programme
(Language Engineering - LE 4204).
DiET is also supported by the Swiss government through the participation of ISSCO.
