 Project Strands

WebIT/EFCOT follows a dual approach for the provision of a comprehensive terminology service to the ICT community.

  • Strand One (WebIT) will focus on making available, in  a web-based database, a pool of multilingual terminology commonly used in the localisation of software and IT.
  • Strand Two  (EFCOT)  will seek to standardise terminology based on an existing model - JOGSCOT (The Joint Group for Swedish Computer Technology)
