TUAG
(Terminology User Advisory Group)

In order to gain a broad cross-section of opinion from all those involved in the use of terminology, a Terminology User Advisory Group (TUAG) has been formed. This group (TUAG) will act as an advisory group to strand one of the project (WebIT).  The initial list of participants in this body includes members from Corel, ITP, Microsoft, and Lotus. The function of  TUAG is to provide guidance and feedback to the project from members of the localisation industry. It will also aid the project consortium in ensuring that the project is relevant to industry needs. The final function of the Terminology User Advisory Group is to review project prototypes. Membership of this body is open to all interested parties working within the localisation industry.

The project consortium would like to invite all members of the localisation industry to participate in this project by joining the Terminology User Advisory Group (TUAG). Your participation will ensure that this project is a success, and in doing so you will help us to provide a valuable resource for all those involved in the software localisation industry. The project consortium intends to hold a further seminar in the autumn of this year with the aim of discussing the progress of the project, and getting feedback from the localisation industry. We hope that you will join us in this enterprise.
