About CLP

Since the startup of the Adapt funded Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) initiative in 1998, a serious attempt has been made to address the urgent need to convert today’s graduate skill’s shortage into tomorrow’s vocational training opportunity in the Localisation industry in Ireland which is acknowledged to be one of the fastest growing and most dynamic sectors within the information Technology sector.

With the support of the industry, the CLP initiative is setting about the establishment of an accreditation system for the software localisation industry.
