This
year's Irish Localisation Event, Localisation 2001 -eLocalisation
will take place in the University of Limerick. The two-day
event (15-16 November), organized by the Localisation Research Centre
(LRC) will feature two workshops, an industry exhibition, and four plenary
sessions.
We invite companies to
participate in the Exhibition and book special slots for product
demonstrations.

| Localisation
Service Providers will
have an opportunity to make valuable contacts and demonstrate
their capabilities to potential buyers of localisation services.
Software
Publishers and Hardware Manufacturers will
be able to show to new graduates how exciting it can be to work in
the localisation industry and get in touch with highly experienced
localisation professionals who might be looking for a change in
their career.
Tools
Developers will seldom have a
better chance to convince the industry of the real gains that can
be achieved through using their localisation tools to support the
work of project managers, translators and testers.
Consultants
will be offered a forum that will put them
in touch with some of the most powerful clients in Ireland and
overseas.

Recruitment
Agencies will
have a unique opportunity to talk directly to clients on 'both
sides' and present their specialised services to the localisation
industry.
Training
Providers will be in a position
to introduce new clients to their courses specially tailored to
cover the needs of the localisation industry in areas such as
project management, engineering and testing.
Publishers
of Industry Literature and Journals will
introduce themselves to new readers and meet some of their current
readers face-to-face - a perfect occasion for exploring new ideas
and future directions

stands will be available to exhibitors from November 15th
to November 16th.
They will be opened on November 15th (08:30) to November 16th (17:00) for
the Conference during morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks.
