TILP Pre-conference

LRC XII, the 12th Internationalisation and Localisation Conference organised by the Localisation Research Centre, will take place on 27-28 September 2007 in Dublin, Ireland with a pre-conference day taking place in Dublin on September 26. The theme for this year's conference will be Localisation Research, and the conference will provide a forum for discussion of both industrial and academic research as well as looking at collaboration between the two.

The Localisation Research Centre (LRC) provides a comprehensive information service to the localisation industry; conducts research and development in localisation and related areas, such as language engineering; produces a range of publications including Localisation Focus - the International Journal of Localisation; and oversees a number of education and training programs.

LRC conferences are aimed at researchers, teachers, trainers, managers, engineers, translators and internationalisation specialists working in localisation. They are also aimed at businesses, governments, and international development agencies that would like to find out how internationalisation and localisation can help their endeavours.
