The University’s campus is located right on the banks of the river Shannon in beautifully landscaped surroundings. Limerick is less than 200 kilometers west of Dublin, close to some of Ireland’s most famous attractions, among them the Cliffs of Moher (Co. Clare) and the beaches of the Dingle peninsula. The University's campus is just 5 miles away from Limerick City. 

Accommodation for the Summer School will be Dromroe Student Village

Dromroe Student Village

Dromroe Village is situated in a superb location on the south campus of the University,  overlooking the River Shannon. 

The village was recently awarded an RIAI Regional award for its unique architectural design. The apartments offer the following facilities:-

  • Six bedrooms with double beds and ensuite facilities.  

  • A stylishly designed, comfortable living area with fully fitted kitchen and cable TV.  

  • Card phones are also provided.

 Dromroe Village has excellent amenities including:- 

  • A Village Centre with a large arts space, together with a smaller meeting room.   

  • A convenience store as well as self-service launderette are also located in the village.   

  • Free car parking is available adjacent to the village.
