Kentucky Fried Chicken enjoyed enormous success in the US with
their slogan: "It's finger-licking good!" When the company used its
famous slogan in Iran however, it came out as "It's so good you will eat
your fingers!" in Farsi.
In China too, the same catch phrase was interpreted as "eat
your fingers off!"
